Bill Crockett - Personal Insurance Advisor

Bill grew up in Ft. Collins, CO, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains where he played every sport he could, with basketball being his passion. He attended Pensacola Christian College in Florida and graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2010 as well as earning his MBA in 2013.

In 2013, he moved to Garland, TX and began working at Lavon Drive Baptist Church as their landscaping supervisor. Within six months of his employment, the church asked him to join the pastoral staff where he served as the student pastor for five years. During his time as a student pastor, Bill served as a leader in our local Fellowship of Christian Athletes Chapter. He helped mentor students as a Huddle Coach with FCA and would often speak to groups of up to 100 students at schools around DFW.

Bill and his wife, Lyndsey, live in Rowlett and attend Watermark Community Church in Dallas. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Atlanta Braves, and the Tennessee Volunteers.

Bill’s faith, family, and friends are the most important things in his life, and he strives to live by the golden rule, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. His favorite aspect of his position at Smith Allen is the opportunity to build lasting relationships and to help people understand the complexities of insurance to make sure they are getting the best value.
